Tom Hood

Tom has worked in the financial services sector since 1987 and has been an Independent Financial Adviser since 1990. During his career he has developed a loyal client base and is committed to providing a professional and valued service with a straight forward approach to financial planning.

Tom is married with two young sons that keep him busy out of business hours. His personal interests include keeping fit, football and annual trips to the Alps.

Julie Welsh

Julie has worked in the Financial Services industry for over 25 years, originally gaining experience from within a number of large insurance companies. She then moved to a wealth management company where she has gained a wide range of knowledge providing personal administration support dealing with both individual and corporate clients. Julie joined Hood Financial Planning in April 2015 as the Administration Manager.

Outside of work Julie enjoys spending quality family time with her partner, 2 grown up daughters and dogs. She is also a volunteer with the Dogs Trust charity in her spare time.
